New Reactivity

We are trying to pioneer new reactivities that enable chemical transformations of proteins. What is the chemical species which chemoselectively promotes a desired reaction of proteins? How can it be generated in neutral water at 37 °C? A molecule's function is dictated by its structure. Design your own molecules and enable the desired chemical transformations with their unique reactivities. That is our chemistry.

Biochemical Tool

We develop useful tools and methods for biochemical and molecular biology research based on the discovered protein chemical transformation technology. We believe that new methods enabling unprecedented chemical modification of proteins will lead to the invention of unprecedented useful analysis/regulation tools that contribute to biological research of proteins.

Nitrogen

Heterocycles

We promote three chemistry based on nitrogen heterocycles, which are core structure in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.

1) Create chemical bonds to achieve structural diversity (catalysis)

2) Build complex molecules by chemical synthesis (synthetic chemistry)

3) Elucidate their function (medical chemistry)
